🍪 Try to eat as much fine bran as possible on Twitter
After Musk acquired Twitter, he has an ambitious goal: to maximize users' time without regrets
Nearly 2 years have passed, how do you feel?
Is there an increasing amount of valuable content?
Do you feel quite fulfilled after every push?
Based on my personal experience, the current Twitter/𝕏 (after Grok took over the recommendation algorithm):
1. There is indeed some high-quality content available
2. There is also fresh and valuable first-hand/second-hand information available
3. But the proportion of high-value content is still too low
Simply put, there is indeed fine bran, but it is too little.
Considering that I spend a lot of time on social media every day, I think I should find a way to "eat more rice bran" on social media.
🤔 The general strategy consists of the following three steps:
1. Pay less attention, list more, and make good use of the For You timeline
Directly following a user can lead to an influx of low-quality interactive content, such as their replies (generally of lower quality than tweets) and others' replies to them (of lower quality).
Add different (private) lists to different users, killing two birds with one stone.
Firstly, they are unlikely to push low-quality content to these users;
Second: Vertical lists of different categories, with more focused content
Paired with the "For You" timeline, you can basically see high-quality tweets from users who have been added to your list.
At the same time, for You, the timeline will also recommend some new content as supplements to avoid getting stuck in an "information cocoon".
2. Balance the proportion of Chinese and English content
It cannot be denied that English is the top language, while others are considered "minor languages". Adding to this, there are already few Chinese users, which leads to a problem:
The overall quality of Chinese content may be low.
In addition, English is closer to the source of information, and what you see more is' first-hand information '. In Chinese, it is mostly referred to as a second-hand trafficker.
Another point is that English has a wide audience and a lot of content, so if an English content wants to make it onto your "timeline", it must go through five stages and cut through six opponents. After the survival of the fittest, the quality of the content will naturally be more guaranteed.
3. Try to 'follow' high-quality accounts/individuals as much as possible
What constitutes a high-quality account/individual?
a、 I earned a lot of money through my own hard work
b、 Having a special skill
c、 Having unique insights
Example: Lao Mao
This person has already been added to a private list by me, but a few days ago I suddenly saw someone mention him. Out of curiosity, I checked his personal page again, clicked on the article page, and instantly discovered a new continent.
Especially the article on "ETH/BTC exchange rate", after reading it, I was deeply respected, and when I read other articles, I was even more amazed.
Why is that?
Cognitive crushing.
Cognitive and judgmental abilities far exceed those of ordinary people. In ancient times, ALL IN encryption was established, with countless assets. We tightly hold onto the big cake and never relax, combining knowledge with action.
Pay more attention to such people, enhance their awareness, and receive spiritual baptism, which is the greatest value you can gain on social media.
As for those marketing accounts, clickbait headlines, boring guys who rack their brains for traffic every day, and AI crazily wash articles, please blacklist Mute as soon as possible to ensure safety.
