Yesterday at Naseberry Villa, residents received something they have been waiting on for over 20 years; their land titles. Beyond paperwork, this means dignity, opportunity, and security. As a government, we have taken a new approach to land settlement and this includes fast-tracking titling, resolving disputes, and protecting communities from scammers. With the introduction of an amnesty for balances of 150,000 or less, and a push to identify existing land-owners, more residents will have their title in hand and the peace of mind that comes with it. We are giving every Jamaican the chance to own, invest, and create a better future for the next generation.(Andrew Holness)
