The Netherlands welcomes this week’s positive steps by the US in trying to achieve a ceasefire. We support the statement made by our close allies. The Netherlands continues its strong support and is in close contact with its partners. It is of the utmost importance to achieve peace in Ukraine that is just and sustainable. This is why Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity cannot be questioned and should be respected. Ukraine should determine its own future.
