Rumble plans to bid nearly $1.2 billion to acquire German AI cloud company Northern Data

Foresight News, according to Reuters, Rumble, an American video platform and cloud service provider, and Northern Data, a German artificial intelligence cloud group, issued a statement saying that Rumble was considering acquiring Northern Data for about $1.17 billion. Rumble stated that if the deal is reached, it will gain control of Northern Data's cloud computing business Taiga and large data center division Ardent, and plans to integrate them into its own business. Northern Data stated that the company's board of directors is evaluating Rumble's potential acquisition offer and is willing to engage in further discussions. In addition, stablecoin platform Tether, as the major shareholder of Northern Data, has expressed support for this transaction.
