OKX announced the completion of the PP upgrade for X Layer, increasing TPS to 5000, significantly reducing Gas costs, and using OKB as the only Gas and native token. Meanwhile, OKTChain will cease operation on January 1, 2026, and OKT will cease trading from 14:10 on August 13, 2025, gradually being exchanged for OKB. In addition, OKB will undergo one-time destruction with a fixed circulation of 21 million pieces, and the related smart contract functions will be upgraded. The withdrawal function of OKB to Ethereum L1 will cease at 3:00 pm on August 13, 2025.
