Since 2016, Jamaica has made the hard choices to break from fiscal recklessness. We have increased public sector wages, created space for teachers and workers, and at the same time brought down the national debt. The Opposition is once again making promises that cannot be sustained. Fiscal irresponsibility may sound good in the moment, but when external shocks hit, without buffers or reserves, it is the people who suffer. This government has proven that with discipline and good management, we can deliver higher wages, reduce debt, and strengthen Jamaica’s economy. That is good government. #ChooseJamaica(Andrew Holness)
