CMB International officially launches virtual asset trading function The reporter learned that CMB International Securities officially launched the virtual asset trading function on its mobile app on August 18th, providing qualified investors with 24/7 virtual asset trading services. Qualified investors can directly participate in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether trading through virtual asset accounts. CMB International Securities has been approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on July 11th to upgrade its existing securities trading license to a license related to providing virtual asset trading services. It is the first Chinese banking securities firm in Hong Kong to obtain a license related to virtual asset trading services. As an important member enterprise under CMB International Finance Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Bank, CMB International Securities holds licenses for Class 1 and 4 regulated activities issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.
