ZachXBT questions Circle's stance on regulatory compliance According to a report by Golden Finance, blockchain detective ZachXBT has questioned recent statements by Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire about the need to cooperate with the government. He pointed out that Circle took up to six months to handle the freezing of addresses related to Lazarus Group, while the other three major stablecoin issuers immediately implemented address blacklisting measures. In addition, the Circle team also failed to respond promptly to requests from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department to handle Garantex's sanctioned address.
