Legislation to increase transparency of the export control process and further prevent U.S. adversaries from gaining access to sensitive technologies was signed into law today by President Trump. The bill, which requires the Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security to annually report to Congress on export control licensing applications, passed the House in May and the Senate last month, both by voice vote.(Craig Caplan)
