SOLOWIN invests in GPL Remittance, a licensed MPI agency in Singapore, and acquires 19% of its equity According to Golden Finance, SOLOWIN, a digital asset finance company listed on NASDAQ, announced that it has reached an equity investment agreement with GPL Remittance, a Singaporean cross-border payment institution, to acquire 19% of its equity. The specific investment amount has not been disclosed yet, and the latter currently holds a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Previously, SOLOWIN announced that it will jointly launch a $100 million Bitcoin quantification fund and invest in Bitcoin using a data-driven algorithmic trading strategy.
