Previously, I shared with you the rising star Irys @ irys_xyz in the field of storage and data links. Recently, it has been gaining popularity, so let's take advantage of the opportunity to discuss its differences from existing similar projects. The traditional category track mainly consists of three giants: Filecoin, Arweave, and Story Protocol. However, Filecoin is half dead, Arweave is slightly outdated, and Story Protocol has a good concept but is too expensive. In comparison, only Irys @ irys_xyz may be able to achieve a native combination of data and contracts with good cost-effectiveness. Moreover, from a technical perspective, the gap is quite obvious: Filecoin: It can only be stored for a short period of time (540 days), and the price fluctuates with the market. The contract can hardly directly use data; Irys not only supports long-term and permanent storage, but also allows smart contracts to directly read and write data, with cost anchored hard disk prices, low and stable. Arweave: can only be used for permanent storage, and the cost is affected by AR fluctuations; Irys supports both long-term and permanent storage, with faster speed, lower cost, and one click contract access. Story Protocol: Only metadata is stored, and real images and audio are still stored on chains like IPFS; Irys puts complete assets on the chain and can also write licensing logic and customized charging models, making IP truly a live asset on the chain. In summary, while others store data, Irys makes it usable, profitable, and even cheaper. In the midst of endless bull market narratives, it is always the underlying infrastructure that can sustain long-term logic. Moreover, Irys has not yet released any coins, and there are multiple channels for freelancing. As the saying goes, play with the new instead of the old, why don't you hurry up and have sex!
