Whenever I make trades on the left side, all I get are entertaining negative comments. Bought OKB at 45 and posted it for you all to see. The comment section either says stuff like 'has a bad track record, won’t pump, still far from listing,' or 'this trash won’t work, better off buying xx and xx.' Bought ETH at 1550 and took a loss, then chased long at 1700—also posted it for you all to see. The comment section mostly went with 'spot trading isn’t scary,' or 'ETH defenders' and similar remarks. The outcome is predictable: as long as the price goes up, everything people once looked down on suddenly becomes something they’re willing to buy back at high prices. And everyone praises it—not because they saw its buried value during this cycle, but because they saw its moonshot price. The asset is still the same asset. The marked price changes, and so does your evaluation of it. But that’s not how investing works. Thinking back to half a year ago, the 'long-term investment, spot trading isn’t scary' mantra is now being reused by people. You can only respect the fate of others. When it comes to trading, timing is crucial. If you buy ETH at 1500 or OKB at 45, people will call you an idiot and roast you. But when the price pumps, they’ll scramble to buy at 4800 or 190 instead.
