Tokenized trading platforms for U.S. stocks and tokenized equity trading platforms for private companies have been popping up everywhere. Today, I saw an exchange launch a stock contract trading section. I’m guessing we’ll see more tokenized stock contracts in the future. These are all examples of the new asset types we’ve discussed before under the trend of integration. Now it’s just a matter of time before small-cap U.S. stocks and OTC markets (actually, Hong Kong’s GEM companies are quite similar) issue tokenized stocks for public trading, truly achieving token-stock linkage and playing with both futures and spot markets. Another interesting possibility is private companies directly offering tokenized stocks with equal rights. These two scenarios might still take some time.
