[Australian ASIC Has Taken Down Approximately 3,015 Crypto Scam Websites in Two Years] According to a report by Decrypt, as cited by Jinse Finance, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) disclosed that over the past two years, it has taken down more than 14,000 scam and phishing websites, around 20% of which were crypto scam websites, totaling approximately 3,015. ASIC stated that it will expand its crackdown efforts from website takedowns to include social media advertisements, aiming to help protect Australian consumers from fraud.
