According to FT, the cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda, backed by billionaire investor Peter Thiel, has ruled out the UK as a potential listing location, citing weak liquidity on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). CEO Eric Demuth stated that the company will consider Frankfurt or New York when moving forward with its IPO, but London is not on the table.
