According to a report by Digital Today, Kim Byung-hwan, Chairman of the South Korea Financial Services Commission, stated that preparations for the second-phase virtual asset-related bill (referred to as the 'Basic Act') are planned to be completed before the regular National Assembly session in September. During a meeting of the National Assembly's Second Policy Committee, in response to a query from Democratic Party lawmaker Min Byung-deok regarding the submission plan for the bill, Chairman Kim replied: 'We will make the necessary preparations to ensure the bill can be discussed during the regular National Assembly session.'
