[Bitcoin mining companies make massive Ethereum purchases, totaling over $1.1 billion] According to announcements from @BitMNR and @SharpLinkGaming yesterday and today, they purchased 190,523 ETH ($866M) and 56,533 ETH ($252M), respectively, last week. As of August 24, BitMine (BMNR) holds 1,713,899 ETH at an average cost of $3,821; as of August 24, SharpLink (SBET) holds 795,905 ETH at an average cost of $3,548.
