[Whistleblower Warns DOGE May Have Exposed Personal Information of Over 300 Million Americans] According to a report by Golden Finance, Chuck Borges, Senior Data Officer at the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA), stated in a whistleblower complaint that members of the Government Efficiency Office (DOGE) had uploaded a massive Social Security database to a cloud server, putting the personal information of over 300 million Americans at risk. The whistleblower report, submitted to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel and members of Congress, claims that the uploaded data includes records of all Social Security numbers issued by the federal government, as well as full names, dates of birth, and other personal information. Borges did not indicate in the complaint that the database had been breached. The SSA stated that it has "found no evidence of any compromise to the environment" at this time.
