We are proud of the success of the CHAN 2024 tournament, which we co-hosted with Uganda and Tanzania. Building on these milestones, we are preparing to host AFCON 2027, determined to deliver an even greater spectacle. As part of these preparations, we are constructing Talanta Stadium alongside other modern sports facilities across the country. These investments will strengthen grassroots sports, nurture talent, and firmly place our sports on the global stage. At State House, Nairobi, met FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe, ahead of the CHAN 2024 finals between Morocco and Madagascar at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. We discussed preparations for AFCON 27 and the development of a Sh600 million National Technical Centre in Machakos supported by FIFA to host the FKF Headquarters.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
