We are aware of the concerns about the recent Catalyst proposal and the request for more clarity on the relationship between the EMURGO entities. As private companies, we are careful about disclosures, but feel it is important to clarify some misconceptions. 🔹 EMURGO (EMURGO Group) is overseen by @phillip_pon, but he does not have management authority over @EMURGOLabs, @EmurgoAfrica, or Taisu Ventures. Regarding Catalyst funding, EMURGO Group does not vote on proposals. 🔹 EMURGO Labs and EMURGO Africa are independently-run companies with their own complete strategic, operational control, and funding. Like the recently rebranded Taisu Ventures, EMURGO Group exercises no oversight over these entities. 🔹 EMURGO Labs is led by @AMAHAmer. EMURGO Africa is led by @shogo_m_i and @yos2yos2yos2.
