Bybit to Launch Somnia (SOMI)

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bybit's spot platform will officially list Somnia (SOMI) on September 2 at 2:30 PM (UTC), opening the SOMI/USDT trading pair and launching the 5 million SOMI Token Splash event in advance. Deposits are now open. Somnia's public blockchain is a high-performance, low-cost Layer 1 blockchain compatible with EVM, capable of processing over a million transactions per second and achieving sub-second final confirmation. Somnia is designed for real-time, large-scale applications such as gaming, social networking, and the metaverse, enabling developers to create unprecedented immersive experiences on-chain. Additionally, Bybit has introduced the Token Splash event, with the event period (UTC time): September 2, 2025, 13:00 – September 17, 11:00. Two reward pools: 1. Exclusive for new users (3 million SOMI): The first 6,000 users who complete registration, identity verification, and deposit tasks will each receive 500 SOMI, on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Trading incentives (2 million SOMI): Users who trade SOMI equivalent to 500 USDT or more will earn rewards based on their trading volume, with a maximum of 2,000 SOMI per person.
