Kuange's experience is really worth a look. Honestly, I've never fully trusted on-chain stuff. Basically, if the coins I buy can be transferred to Binance, I move them there. I also don't keep SOL in on-chain shitcoin wallets for long. Only withdraw from the exchange when needed. I've just seen too many cases of people losing their funds without knowing what happened.
