I don’t know when the next mainstream narrative in crypto will come, but I’m almost certain it will happen in the general infra track. Looking back at the hot narratives of this cycle: modularity (DA/settlement), meme launchpads, restaking, high-performance blockchains (SVM/parallel EVM, etc.), these are all general infra. You can say they’re all fake demands right now, but you can’t deny they’ve brought alpha opportunities to ordinary people.
