The proportion of cryptocurrency losses in total scam-related losses has risen to 17.9%. Statistics show that the top three cryptocurrencies with the highest fraud-related losses are Tether (approximately 46.8 million SGD), Bitcoin (approximately 20 million SGD), and Ethereum (approximately 7.6 million SGD), collectively accounting for 91.2% of cryptocurrency losses. Most cryptocurrency scam victims are aged between 30 and 49, with the most common scams involving job offers, investments, and impersonation of government officials.
