Is relying on 'market intuition' to trade crypto just superstition? I don’t think so. It’s clearly the professional hazard I developed from staying up all night watching the charts! A lot of people think market intuition is some kind of mystical power—like you feel the market’s going to drop, and then it actually does. But in reality, it’s not a premonition. It’s your brain subconsciously summarizing patterns from hundreds of past price movements and giving you an instinctive reaction. It’s like playing League of Legends for a long time. You glance at the minimap, notice a hero’s dot disappears, and you can pretty much guess where the enemy is coming from and when it’s time to make a play! Or like an experienced driver—your hands move faster than your brain, and the steering wheel just turns on its own. That’s not talent; it’s muscle memory built through practice! Here’s how I trained myself: over the past few years, I’ve spent countless hours watching charts—Bitcoin, Ethereum, all kinds of altcoins—studying price movements across different timeframes, drawing patterns, and engraving them into my brain. Then I review my trades every day, whether I made money or lost it, and jot everything down in my little notebook. I even record charts of my mistakes! I opened a live trading account, documented every single trade, and tracked my position management. I constantly remind myself of my rules! I also set fixed times to check the market, building a rhythm so I can sense even the slightest 'breath' of the market. Some people say: 'If you don’t have talent, don’t bother trading!' But honestly, even if you’re talented, that only gives you a head start. Without practice, you’ll still get wrecked. That said, market intuition can only help you make quick judgments about trends. To really make money, you need a solid system, strict risk management, and discipline (don’t get emotional! Don’t hold onto losing positions!). Now, I can occasionally feel the market’s 'breath' too. Not because it’s some mystical force, but because I’ve truly put in the work.
