My story with Anoma
Never thought this BTC archaeology post would keep getting comments, likes, and shares. Actually, I came across this email exchange between Satoshi Nakamoto and an early Google engineer while researching Anoma @anoma.
Why did I start researching Anoma in 2022-2023?
Because its vision resonated with me. During my first startup, I came across the concept of 'intent,' and some of my thoughts and ideas around it have stayed with me for years. When I discovered Anoma, I felt like it was exactly what I had been looking for. My thoughts were fragmented and focused on intent-based needs, but after reading their two papers, I realized they had already systematically studied intent and integrated it with transaction systems.
While researching, I looked up a lot of terms like p2p market (and even found early BTC community research on this topic, which included a paper and a system implementation—though it clearly didn’t catch on), intent, etc. During one Google search, I stumbled upon this email exchange between Satoshi and an early Google engineer. It was such a pleasant surprise that I wrote this BTC archaeology post and shared Anoma along with it.
