Africa has honoured its commitments in climate change adaptation and mitigation, taking the lead in climate action and driving green growth. We now call on the international community to honour their pledges, and double them, so that together we can achieve our shared goal of protecting the planet. We have delivered on adaptation financing, and, at COP30, we expect our partners to meet their share of the commitment and scale it further. Nairobi, the new home of the Global Centre on Adaptation, will anchor this effort under Africa's leadership in partnership with the world. Africa is doing its part, we invite the international community to join us.
