Happy to share that @circle is now finally a proud member of @BlockchainforEU 🇪🇺 As the largest MiCA-compliant issuer and the issuer of EURC – the largest euro stablecoin in circulation - joining Brussels’ leading EU crypto association was a no-brainer, and long overdue. Excited to work even more closely with B4E and my good friends Robert & Tommaso. The EU has a regulatory first-mover advantage with MiCA, but lacks a globally competitive crypto market. This needs to change asap. Merz and Macron recently underlined a few key action items in their new economic agenda: • Developing a strong European crypto market • Boosting the competitiveness of European CASPs • Securing equivalence and reciprocity with third countries The agenda can’t wait — and I’m hopeful @BlockchainforEU can play a part in making this happen.(Patrick Hansen)
