[Figure Sets IPO Price at $25 Per Share, Expected to Raise $787.5 Million]
According to CoinDesk, blockchain lending platform Figure Technologies, founded by SoFi co-founder Mike Cagney, has set the price for its initial public offering (IPO) at $25 per share, with an expected fundraising total of $787.5 million. According to the press release, the company's Class A shares are scheduled to begin trading on Nasdaq later today, September 11, under the ticker symbol 'FIGR.' The offering includes 31.5 million shares, approximately 23.5 million shares directly from Figure and 8 million shares from existing shareholders. If underwriters exercise their option to purchase additional shares, an extra 4.7 million shares may be sold. Last week, the company increased the size of its IPO to $526 million. The offering is expected to close on September 12, subject to customary closing conditions.
