Choices always outweigh effort... Getting into altcoins at the wrong price point makes it way too easy to get shaken out. That’s exactly what happened yesterday. After getting shaken out, I checked today and saw that the altcoin I opened yesterday only went up about 2% above my cost price. In other words, even if I held onto the position all night, and with $ETH going up, the altcoin only rose 2% from my entry price. If $ETH hadn’t gone up, the outflow from altcoins would’ve been even scarier... This is no longer the kind of market where you can just hold on and expect it to bounce back. Be cautious with altcoins. As for altcoin season, although the indicators suggest it’s coming, I’m still skeptical. So far, two sectors have already had their breakout moments: GameFi and meme coins. Let’s see if another sector steps up next.
