From a fundamental perspective, Linea operates on a burn model. My understanding is that the larger the TVL, the more it will burn. Logically, all the ETH from SBET will be deposited into Linea, which will generate native ETH staking rewards. If I remember correctly, Joseph Lubin mentioned that SBET might buy into Linea, and this potential buying volume would undoubtedly be a significant expectation for Linea given its tiny MC. Although it felt like going against the tide at launch, after observing again today, there seems to be a lot less FUD surrounding Linea. The people spreading FUD have moved on to a few new tokens and are no longer paying attention to Linea. On Western CT, I’ve seen some neutral-to-optimistic takes.
