BlockBeats News, September 15, Polkadot DAO has passed Referendum No. 1710, a proposal to cap the DOT token supply at 2.1 billion, with 81% support. This will replace the current unlimited model of minting 120 million DOT annually and reduce emissions by decreasing the issuance of new DOT every two years.
