PCULE announced a rebrand last night Originally, PCULE was a PM aggregator Tg Bot, but last night they announced plans to create a prediction market similar to Kalshi. Key features: allowing users to create prediction markets and provide liquidity. I gave it some thought—niche markets > aggregators. Even though niche markets have low trading volume and lots of issues (PCULE still relies on manual arbitration lol), these kinds of projects are targeting PM from different angles to solve problems that PM currently can’t address. The vision is ambitious. As long as the market buys in, it doesn’t necessarily have to succeed. PCULE has another big issue: it’s built on Believe. The platform token, Launchcoin, has a market cap of $87M, while PCULE’s market cap is $23M. The platform token’s ceiling is too low, which limits the potential of ecosystem tokens. Not sure if PCULE will bring a wealth effect to the platform and make the whole ecosystem take off, or if the platform token will hold back the development of ecosystem tokens. What’s interesting is that you can now bet on whether @believeapp will achieve a flywheel effect by September.
