Today, @Mantle_Official's MIP-33 proposal was approved this afternoon. mnt is the first blockchain project I've seen where the community approves the team's budget. MIP-33 is the core budget proposal for the third budget cycle by @Mantle_Official, decided through voting by the community (MNT Holders). During the second budget cycle, the following goals were achieved: 1️⃣ Total financial revenue reached a whopping $48.86M! 2️⃣ Mantle Network maintained 100% uptime. 3️⃣ Successfully upgraded from Optimistic Rollup to zkEVM by September 2025, reducing withdrawal times from 7 days to just a few hours, and completed the EigenDA migration! 4️⃣ Total Value Locked (TVL) exceeded $2B. Actual expenditures for the second cycle: $26.98478M USDx, 46M MNT As for the upcoming third budget cycle (July 2025 to June 2026), here are the details of the proposal: Total budget: Same as the second cycle Overall budget increased to: $52M USDx 200M MNT Breakdown: - Team salary budget reduced by $2M (from $15M to $13M) - Infrastructure and security budget increased by $2M (from $8M to $10M) Mantle managed spending very well during the second cycle, leaving enough room for the third cycle.
