The people of Jamaica have given us a historic third term, not because of promises, but because of performance; stronger growth, lower debt, record jobs, improved wages, reduced crime, and better services. With this mandate comes higher expectations. Jamaicans want faster service, safer communities, stronger infrastructure, and more opportunities for their children. This Cabinet was designed to balance continuity with renewal. We will build on the momentum of past achievements while preparing new leadership and fresh ideas for the future. Continuity gives us strength; renewal gives us dynamism. We will be judged by outcomes, not announcements, results, not rhetoric. Every Minister will have clear targets and will be held accountable. And let me be clear, corruption and arrogance will not be tolerated. They weaken government, erode public trust, and endanger our democracy. This third term is about unlocking Jamaica’s full potential, building a society of safety, fairness, prosperity, and pride. This is not about legacy.
