Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz about MetaMask possibly launching a token and airdropping it to Linea holders. I was busy yesterday checking the coins I’m holding and didn’t look into it, but it turns out the source of the news is Joseph Lubin, the founder of ConsenSys and co-founder of Ethereum. Although it’s not an official confirmation, he did hint that holding LINEA tokens might lead to future rewards, including tokens from ConsenSys and other related protocols. He even mentioned, 'MetaMask and Linea are cooking somETHing together,' meaning MetaMask and Linea are working on something together. So, it seems like my decision not to sell any tokens during the Linea TGE was the right move. Who knows, maybe Linea could become the golden shovel of the Ethereum ecosystem? That said, considering MetaMask and Linea’s history of questionable behavior and repeated 'PUA' tactics over the years, don’t go all in. If he says it’s a 10/10, just believe it’s a 3/10.
