We are pleased to share a record milestone achieved by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ). Its free zones, the Dubai Airport Freezone, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Dubai CommerCity, recorded trade transactions of over AED336 billion last year, a 19% increase from 2023. This growth raises DIEZ’s contribution to Dubai’s non-oil trade to 13.7% and reinforces its role as a major driver of the emirate’s economic expansion. This achievement highlights the visionary leadership of Mohammed bin Rashid and his determination to reinforce Dubai’s role as a global business hub, in line with the D33 Agenda. We are confident that the team headed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum will continue to deliver outstanding achievements by harnessing Dubai's economic dynamism and global growth potential.(Hamdan bin Mohammed)
