Monad is about to TGE, so here’s a quick tip to share: How to claim testnet faucet tokens on Monad A lot of people use fingerprint browsers to claim faucet tokens, worried that Monad’s team might detect multiple wallets belonging to the same person and flag them as Sybil accounts. ❓❓How does Monad identify Sybil accounts? Actually, the detection starts right from the faucet claim process . Monad’s faucet website generates a unique Cloudflare browser fingerprint for each new user and quietly stores it in the user’s browser. So, even if you use different wallets (e.g., Wallet A and Wallet B) to claim tokens, if the fingerprints match, Monad’s team can easily identify that these wallets belong to the same person. But there’s a simple, safe, and Sybil-resistant method that doesn’t require a fingerprint browser (avoiding the risk of theft): After each faucet claim, follow the steps in my screenshots to clear all loaded and stored data on the page. This includes the browser fingerprint assigned to you by Monad’s frontend. In Chrome, press F12 to open Developer Tools, switch to the Application tab, select Storage under Application on the left, then click the button in Screenshot 3 to clear all site data. After that, you can use a new wallet to claim tokens without worrying about being flagged as a Sybil. ============== Remember, after every faucet claim, make sure to clear the data! Don’t forget!
