RGB
The Bitlight test tokens are finally done. To be honest, I didn’t mint many, no more than 5. I’ve never evaluated RGB’s technology from a money-making perspective.
A few heartfelt thoughts:
1. The RGB version split (0.11.1 & 0.12) has further fragmented the already small circle of development capabilities.
2. Limited funding & redundant development timelines -> RGB just can’t seem to build anything; it’s always fixing bugs. Should it prioritize market adoption or perfecting the technology first?
3. Complex architecture + a new restructured language = high dev learning curve + no short-term financial returns. How can innovation happen under these conditions?
4. Lack of a leading visionary - lack of a marketing genius - lack of a front-facing figure with social media modeling skills. Without these, it’s just a small circle hyping itself. Tether isn’t going to step in and promote your project; at least they have legal clauses.
5. So, who’s going to create a different set of rules? Who’s going to make RGB stand out from ordinals? (In terms of user experience/rule design/user mindset education) No one!
