Global Number of Individuals Holding Over $1 Million in Crypto Assets Reaches 241,700, Annual Growth of 40%

The '2025 Crypto Wealth Report' jointly released by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth reveals that the number of individuals globally holding crypto assets worth over $1 million has reached 241,700, marking a 40% increase compared to last year. Among them, the number of individuals holding over $1 million in Bitcoin ($BTC) surged by 70% year-on-year, reaching 145,100. Additionally, the number of global crypto billionaires holding over $100 million in assets has reached 450, an 8% increase from last year; while the number of individuals holding over $1 billion in crypto assets has risen to 36, a year-on-year increase of 29%. Analysts believe this growth is primarily driven by accelerated institutional investment and the rollout of state-backed digital currency initiatives by various countries.
