Lotte Group Subsidiary Plans to Expand Aptos Blockchain Applications

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Daehong Communications, a subsidiary of Lotte Group, announced that its mobile gift voucher service Giftiel has issued over 5 million vouchers and reached a user base of over 1.3 million since integrating the Aptos blockchain less than three months ago. This highlights the practical value and strong demand for blockchain in everyday digital services. At the '2025 Global Blockchain Forum,' co-hosted by members of the Korean National Assembly and the Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association (KBIPA), a representative from Daehong Communications emphasized the progress of their collaboration with the Aptos blockchain during his speech, underscoring the company's commitment to working with Aptos to promote widespread adoption of blockchain technology. Looking ahead, Daehong Communications plans to deepen its cooperation with the Aptos Foundation to expand the application of Aptos blockchain technology across Lotte Group's diverse business sectors, including digital gift vouchers, loyalty points, payments, and cross-border value transfers. This effort aims to facilitate large-scale implementation of blockchain and realize its inclusive value.
