The partner for this initiative is Whitebird, a fintech company operating in Belarus' Hi-Tech Park, which oversees the country's digital economy innovation projects. This pilot project has been authorized by the Hi-Tech Park, a government-supported framework. Wildberries does not allow users to pay merchants directly with cryptocurrencies but has adopted a hybrid model: users can exchange popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TON into electronic gift vouchers via the Whitebird platform. These gift vouchers, issued in Belarusian rubles (BYN), can be redeemed on the Wildberries website and mobile app. According to the company's statement, the service is currently in the testing phase, available only to a limited number of users, and supports both desktop and mobile access.
