We must strengthen Africa’s financial institutions, not to replace what already exists, but to build organisations that truly understand our unique needs. We need institutions that recognise our wealth, believe in our potential, and are willing to take risks on us. That is why we will invest more by buying additional shares in our own institutions. These will not only anchor our financial independence, they will stand with us when we need them most.
