Read the Bank of Japan meeting minutes today, and it seems a few members believe Japan should resume raising interest rates. However, based on current trends, the earliest would likely be the end of 2025, and if later, possibly early 2026. Meanwhile, some members think the chances of a U.S. economic recession are very slim.
