This is a proprietary synthetic dollar token natively supported by Sui, with technical backing from Ethena. suiUSDe will be backed by a combination of various digital assets and corresponding short futures positions. In addition to suiUSDe, a new stablecoin called USDi, backed by the tokenized BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), is also set to launch on the Sui platform later this year.
