The crypto world is completely split now, divided into 'coins' and 'securities.' Coins are things like $BTC, $DOGE, which are mined using PoW. They have no inherent functionality or intrinsic value, kind of like gold. The rise in coin prices is purely due to fiat overprinting, fiat regulation, and global taxation. Securities, on the other hand, are either staked through PoS or issued via code, like $ETH, $HYPE, etc. These securities have intrinsic value. The logic is tied to a project, usually an exchange, generating profits, which are then used for buybacks or burns. This is very similar to how listed companies use profits for stock buybacks, driving up prices. So, when dealing with $BTC and $DOGE, think of them like gold—these are coins you can hold onto. But for PoS securities, don’t hoard them lightly. Approach them with a stock-trading mindset!
