Democrats keep demanding to "negotiate" on a deal to reopen the government. There is nothing to negotiate. There is only a clean continuing resolution (CR) until Nov 21st. That is the only deal on the table that will ever be offered. Democrats want to negotiate something extra for themselves, like 500 million for NPR or funding LGBTQ awareness in Africa.
