This is *LITERALLY* what “Rule of Law” means dipshit.
Judges take cases that have a nexus in their jurisdiction.
They are NOT acting as an individual, they are, in their decision, an arm of the collective judiciary - a co-equal branch of government with the executive and the legislature.
Their job is to interpret the law in a fair and impartial manner and ensure it applies equally *TO EVERYONE* including the President.
The President is not a law maker, nor interpreter. His authority is to direct the execution of the law and federal resources - that is WHY we call it the “executive” branch as in “to execute” or “to carry out”
If you feel an individual judge was incorrect in their application of the law, to you have the ability to appeal all the way up to the Supreme Court.
But a single judge overturning a Presidential order is **NOT** tyranny - it is the definition of a democratic system.
Because it is not on the authority of a single judge.
It is on the combined authority of the co-equal branch of the judiciary who we appoint and review expressly to interpret and fairly apply the law in this country.
There is no such thing as “some lowly judge”, it does not matter if they are a state judge, a federal judge, it does not matter what circuit they are on.
Because all judges are the collective judiciary. Their orders, until over turned, are so ordered with the full weight of the collective judiciary.
And yes, they can even apply those to the President - and THAT is what makes America great!(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
