DCG Subsidiary Yuma Appoints TradeBlock Co-Founders as Executives

Digital Currency Group (DCG)'s subsidiary Yuma, which focuses on the field of artificial intelligence, has announced the appointment of TradeBlock co-founders Greg Schvey and Jeff Schvey as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), respectively. TradeBlock previously collaborated with DCG and blockchain infrastructure company Axoni. Its cryptocurrency index and data business were acquired by DCG's former media subsidiary CoinDesk in 2021 but were divested and shut down during the crypto market downturn in 2023. Yuma was established in November 2024 and specializes in providing validator, mining, and subnet services for the Bittensor network.
