We are aware of the concerns raised by depositors and are treating the matter with utmost seriousness and sensitivity. I met today with the Ministry of Housing and the Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) regarding the Hellshire View housing development, a joint venture with Rite Solutions Limited. While the project has faced financing and implementation challenges, we have identified a number of possible solutions. Further meetings will be held with the joint venture partners and representatives of the depositors to chart the best path forward. My commitment remains to ensuring a fair and timely resolution for all parties and protecting the interests of Jamaican homeowners and the public.(Andrew Holness)
